Abstract

The professional work of a specialist in the psychological, medical and pedagogical commission (PMPC) is distinguished by high emotional tension due to the constant interaction and communication with children who have certain problems in development and with their parents, which often leads to professional (emotional) burnout. In order to prevent professional burnout and psychological correction of the initial manifestations of such, a program was developed to prevent emotional burnout among specialists of PMPC, with its subsequent implementation in the educational institution “Regional Center for Diagnostics and Consulting” in Chelyabinsk for 8 months, in which 18 employees took part this institution. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the program aimed at developing the skills of self-regulation, positive self-perception and management of one's own psycho-emotional state was carried out using the experimental psychological test “Diagnosis of the level of emotional burnout”. Testing was carried out twice — before the implementation of the program of psychoprophylaxis of emotional burnout and upon its completion. The initial examination revealed manifestations of emotional burnout of varying severity in most individuals comprising the study group — 72%. Repeated testing, after 8 months of the implementation of the psychoprophylactic program, recorded a significant decrease in the number of those who had any signs of emotional burnout — up to 28%. The higher frequency and severity of emotional burnout, as well as its lower susceptibility to reverse development, were more characteristic of people over 40 and with work experience of over 20 years, which justifies the need for earlier involvement of PMPC specialists in the training program of psychoprophylaxis.

16 male patients with Asperger syndrome aged 15–17 were studied. In the course of the study, it was revealed that in all adolescents, autistic symptoms themselves (stereotypes, echolalia, fear of the new) were reduced, but personality disorders were formed. Most patients (n=11) had behavioral disorders, 3 adolescents had obsessive-compulsive disorder, and 2 had depression.

Abstract

The clinical features of psychopathic disorders occurring within the framework of a psychopathic syndrome in adolescent schizophrenia are considered. Based on a study of 36 patients aged 13 to 17 years, an analysis of psychopathic disorders present in boys and girls suffering from schizophrenia is given. It was established that regardless of the form of schizophrenia within which these disorders are observed, the main manifestations of psychopathic disorders were associated with gender and age stages of the puberty period. Significantly more often, in male adolescents, pronounced socialized disorders of behavior and drives were observed, which had an antisocial orientation and were associated with elements of pathological fantasizing. Female adolescents have unsocialized disorders of behavior and drives, including those with anorectic tendencies. Psychopathic disorders associated with a disorder of primitive drives were observed with the same frequency.

Abstract

Borderline mental disorders at the remote stages of herpes infection are not sufficiently studied and often the etiology remains unclear, and the therapy is of a syndrome nature. Twenty-three patients with neurosis-like symptoms were examined. The syndrome features of neuropathic syndrome have been identified, and diagnostic features have been identified, allowing to regard them as a manifestation of the consequences of herpes infection. The issues of pathogenesis and ethiotropic therapy are discussed.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the characteristics of the mental state of pregnant women in the third trimester. Pregnancy in all women increases the level of personal anxiety, which is especially often recorded in the third trimester. Sociological and psychometric methods examined 52 pregnant women in the third trimester on the basis of the perinatal center. In all women who participated in the study, pregnancy proceeded without complications. Depression was detected in 20% of cases, anxiety in 23%, and depression and anxiety in 15%. An alarming type of the psychological component of the gestational dominant was revealed in 27% of women, euphoric in 15%, and depressive in 8%. The results indicate a high proportion of pregnant women with anxiety and depression, with a predominantly anxious type of psychological component of the gestational dominant, which can contribute to the formation of mental disorders with a high risk of social maladaptation.
