Dynamics of academic performance indicators during distance education at the Department of Pathological Physiology in South-Urals State Medical University
Abstract
The article presents the features of the transition to distance learning due to the introduction of quarantine measures in connection with the spread of COVID-19, considers the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning, assesses the dynamics of the performance indicators of students of a medical university. It was revealed that when organizing distance learning there are technical problems: interruptions in the work of online platforms, lack of proper software for students and teachers, as well as the lack of direct contact between students and teachers. Among the advantages are saving time and money for moving, comfortable learning in a familiar home environment, reducing stress levels, the ability to choose the optimal pace of mastering the material, the ability to plan the daily routine, changing the mode of communication with the teacher during school and extracurricular time.
